A few weeks after your wedding you will receive two films on a USB stick. One 5-8 minute cinematic Wedding Film and one longer documentary style edit that covers the ceremony and the first dance in their entirety. The speeches can be added to the documentary edit as an optional.
Yes we do! We love engagement sessions. We are happy to do an engagement session if you are traveling somewhere else for your wedding, but don’t forget that we also travel for destination weddings.

In order to book us for your special date, all we need is for you to fill out our contract and pay an upfront 1/3 deposit of the total package cost.
Absolutely. You can print your photos wherever you want and you can distribute them around the internet too (facebook, e-mail, twitter, etc).
We only used quality licensed music in my films (the cost for this is included in the overall package.) This protects us both, first off I can’t be done for copyright infringement by using a main stream song, and second your video is protected and can never be taken down from YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo or where ever you choose to post it (not to mention it is kinda the right thing to do).

Absolutely, about a month before your wedding i would hope too meet to give me the info i need that will help begin planning your video. After that, I would love to meet you and your fiancé for a coffee or a Skype/phone chat to get to know you a little better, hear all about the wedding and understand what kind of video it is that you want.
My day would start out nice and early at the venue to get some exterior shots to set the scene. I would then cover the bridal party preparations and – times and location permitting – the groom or partner’s prep. The ceremony would be covered by two cameras, as will the speeches and the first dance. This will allow me to cover multiple angles and get uninterrupted coverage throughout. I’ll finish up about half an hour after the first dance, once I have plenty of good shots of everyone cutting loose on the dance floor.
Some wedding videographers vary their package to include add-ons for extra time and locations etc. At Ribbon and tie, we see things a little differently; we believe that if you hire us, you should get everything that can be provided on the day for one base price with no unforeseen costs. We know the value and importance of transparency when planning such an important day.
Editing task is to create a cinematic feel to your film, so we use state of the art software to get the best results. This is usually the longest part of the process and what your really paying for, we edit your story in to a love story with great editing, grading and VFX, and with your permission we like to add in some cute animations to keep it elegant and fun.
